Job Description Summary

The Aero Alliance Repair Development Product Manager will support productivity and deliverables across the repair network, focusing on internal and external shops’ support. The daily tasks will include working closely with GE Aerospace and Global vendor network to facilitate execution in the vision of maximizing product cost out, improved turnaround time and other key outcomes for the Aero Alliance and its customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

Productivity program output tracking, measuring productivity deck benefits in production.

Production support, facilitating engine delivery, working in contact with L5 vendor for DR tracking and resolution;

Identify opportunities for improved of Turn Around Time for Level 5 repairs across Supply chain of Aeroderivative technology and work cross-functionally to develop and drive action plans.

Understand and drive partnership for improvement for GEA L5 Shops performance through recurrent reviews.

Ensure timely execution of repair activities, supporting shops for critical issues.

Drive strong operating rigor on execution and process improvement for Departure Records to meet critical customer needs, including centralized prioritization, working with AEO, AA, ASP, and main vendors to maximize impact.

Work in close partnership between Engineering and Operations to execute repairs.

Boost Repair value defining most beneficial repair strategy in the Americas Region.

Support visibility for total Productivity coming from Repair programs, working closely with Cost Out team

Partner with Operations team to maximize control over internal and external vendors’ performance.

Partner with Cost-Out Team exploring potential cost-out projects coming from ideas generated during AWO & sharing sessions with cross functional teams, while getting Finance’s validation of Business cases involved.

Enhance repair development awareness within Aero Alliance network, including closely monitoring of Repair yields, repetitive DRs, top purchased spare parts, among other KPIs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or related field of study from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Production Control, Product Management, Engineering, or other relevant technical functions.

Demonstrable competence in Aeroderivative repair world.

Owner’s mindset and proactive action and communication

Experience that demonstrates deep technical knowledge and understanding of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines is an advantage.

Self-directed with demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.

Displays good interpersonal skills, and able to communicate well with internal and external customers.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification

Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives.

PC Proficiency

Understands business objectives and drives specific tasks required to meet the objectives.

Understands products, capabilities, and limitations in sufficient detail to be able to develop offerings that meet customer needs.

Communicates the business vision effectively in an open and consistent manner.

Encourages input from all members of the team.

Measures processes and performance through the customer's eyes

Communicates messages clearly and concisely.
