Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world.The role As a Senior Designer, it will be your responsibility to shape the future of personal finance by delivering new features, optimizing our existing products, holding a high standard for excellence and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary set of stakeholders. You'll work on one or more efforts concurrently within a particular product area. Additionally, you'll coordinate with designers and researchers within your product area and related areas to bring the best experiences to life for our members.SoFi has achieved significant growth, with ambitious plans ahead, but to continue this growth we need great talent. And that starts with you.Responsibilities:Conceptualize, define and design product features from start-to-finish across mobile and web platformsCollaborate closely with Research, Content Design, Product Management, and Engineering partners to iterate and drive solutions towards member & business outcomesDevelop effective design solutions based on research, member insights, and industry best-practices (across finance and tech)Present design concepts and clearly communicate design intent through design specs and presentationsCollaborate with other product designers working on other projects to drive alignment and cohesiveness across the entire user experienceShare work early and often for wide visibility and alignment

Qualification and experience5+ yrs experience of experience working in product design/UX rolesStrong design point of view and aestheticStrong expertise in common design tools (ie. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc)Expertise in mobile and web UX best practices across iOS, Android and responsive webStrong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams including product management, engineering and marketingAbility to translate user research, user needs and product data to make informed design solutionsTrack record for delivering end to end solutions from initial concepts to measurable outcomesExperience presenting work and rationale to leaders and advocating for user needs in the context of business goals and technology requirementsExperience working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment using tools like Jira and ConfluenceA portfolio URL or PDF to submit with the application with examples of mobile and responsive web product design
