Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Director of Operations
to lead and manage our regional operations team. In this high-impact role, you will oversee a team of eight Regional Managers, driving the operational and financial success of dental practices in multiple regions. You will work closely with clinical leadership and staff to implement strategies that maximize practice performance and enhance patient care.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will report directly to the Chief Clinical and Operations Officer.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Regional Managers to develop and execute operational plans, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each region.
Monitor practice financial performance, identify growth challenges, and create actionable strategic and tactical plans to meet business objectives.
Build strong partnerships with clinical leaders, ensuring close collaboration to review financial performance, adjust operations, and implement clinical initiatives.
Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies to ensure optimal practice performance and maintain exceptional patient experiences.
Strengthen relationships between doctors and practice staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence that supports both clinical and business success.
Conduct regular practice visits, ensuring adherence to operational policies and the successful implementation of organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven background in operational leadership with strong emotional intelligence, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience developing and implementing innovative strategies to drive operational efficiency and achieve results.
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and clinical teams to foster growth and creative problem-solving.
Hands-on leader who excels at supporting and developing teams, delivering results through others, and effectively partnering across departments.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in multi-site operations, preferably within the dental or healthcare services sector.
Strong financial and business acumen.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
