This role involves diving deep into data, providing data analysis, supporting core Business Operations activities, reporting using solutions such as Tableau and QuickSight, and even prototyping and deploying new solutions using advanced technologies including GenAI, LLM, and robotic process automation.
This role is focused on Business Operations supporting the growth of AWS Customers in Worldwide Public Sector Healthcare and Nonprofits. High visibility with wide exposure to the range of functions and structure of the business.
Key job responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Strategy leaders and team members, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, develop GTM strategies, and scale the business.
Drive incubation and growth for some of the newest and most innovative customer needs in healthcare.
Lead pipeline review, forecasting, analysis, and a wide range of critical operational needs related to key strategic investments
Drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers.
Support the administration and execution of the team’s targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various demand generation campaigns and proposing improvements to the business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.
Support the rhythm of the business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.
Work directly with the models/data. Work with data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them.
Advocate for their customers to other internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with teams in AWS Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, Business Desk, Support, and Sales.
Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems
A day in the life
This role works directly with leadership and dives deep with data engineering teams and support functions to understand and analyze the performance of the business and make key recommendations. The role allows the candidate to meet with a wide range of functions across the business and develop key working relationships and a deep understanding of the mechanics of cloud sales and operations.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI, etc. and a working knowledge of SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
