Location Description The Post Consumer Brands plant in Tremonton, Utah is part of the company's West Coast network, with more than 220 team members supplying Malt-O-Meal bag cereals, PEBBLES cereals, and more to a variety of retailers. When you join the Tremonton team, you'll be joining a group of motivated problem-solvers and safety-first culture. Responsibilities JOB FUNCTION Lead Engineering and Maintenance teams supporting a 24/7 “Ready to Eat” cereal plant. Partner with Plant and Operations teams to deliver World Class performance across all metrics including Safety, Quality/Food Safety, People, Delivery, and Cost. Lead technical teams to maintain, improve and innovate equipment reliability and performance. Develop, and Implement capital investment strategy of site. JOB ACTIVITIES/DUTIES Manage Technical/Support team consisting of the Maintenance/Reliability Manager and Engineers responsible for Projects, Packaging, Processing, and Automation/Controls Lead continuous improvement efforts and capital investments to deliver 3% reduction in costs annually. Manage and execute plant capital strategy that aligns with business needs. Provide technical depth and oversite to ensure technical solutions align with all regulatory and company engineering standards. Key member of Plant Leadership team responsible for developing plant strategic direction and goals. Manage and support technical career paths for operations, maintenance and engineering. Lead initiatives to improve equipment reliability and plant productivity. Support TPM (Basic Equipment Care) program for facility. Support and lead consistent problem-solving efforts that deliver sustainable solutions. Demonstrate a high level of commitment to personal and food safety. Provide innovative and forward-looking ideas as part of multi-site network to reduce total delivered cost. Provide support and guidance to project engineer(s) in managing projects. Work closely with other departments to align strategies and tactics for optimizing OEE. Other duties as requested Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: B.S. (or higher) in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager or related technical role in a manufacturing environment. Key Skills: Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) with ability to lead and facilitate cross functional teams. Proficient with Excel, Power Point, Project Management and Data Analytics tools. Problem solving & Continuous Improvement tools (6 Sigma & Lean Manufacturing). Project Management and organizational skills Technical skills involving extrusion, gas dryers, steam, bulk solids handling, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, PLCs, controls and automation.
