Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Scrum Master with an active Secret clearance to coordinate and monitor technical projects or programs from initiation through delivery in support of a major customer Data Center consolidation. This position will be located in Sterling, Virgina and will be a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor technical projects or programs from initiation through delivery in support of a major customer Data Center consolidation. Gather required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications. Serve as liaisons between technical and non-technical departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure technical projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results. Works with minimal supervision with the ability to make decisions independently.
Job Responsibilities:
Manages all aspects of Data Center Consolidation project.
Solicits and validates stakeholder requirements for transition of current services to provided core services.
Assists the Government in simplifying the IT infrastructure and standardizing services while ensuring availability and performance of critical IT services.
Manages and ensures the timely completion of specific, defined multi discipline technical programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Research, plan, communicate, and achieve objectives through program/project team.
Oversees the team as they plan, track, and execute project plans from start to completion.
Recommends changes to improve the process and to alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Social Science with 8+ years project management (or commensurate experience).
Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA stuiability.
Project Management Professional (PMP) required.
12+ years of progressive experience in managing, directing, and implementing information technology projects.
Experienced in managing a diverse group of functional activities, subordinate groups of technical and administrative personnel.
Experience with management of data center consolidation project(s).
Proven success in planning, scheduling, and executing technical projects within budget and schedule.
Experience in design, analysis, and implementation of data center physical, environmental, and technical systems.
Experience in development of systems engineering and design documents for IT systems and infrastructure.
Experience in working with application owners and key stakeholders in the planning of services and data migration.
Experience maintaining a RAID log to track Risks, Assumption, Issues and Dependencies impacting project goals and targets.
Experience managing Waterfall and Agile projects.
Experience maintaining a well-defined Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with tools like Microsoft Project.
Experience with migrations from Physical Data Centers to Commercial Cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Strong written and oral communications required.
Possess strong technical skills in 3 or more of these areas:o Network serviceso Serverso Storageo Database serviceso Security serviceso Web application hosting

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $140,800.00 - USD $158,000.00 /Yr.
