Program Summary
KBR is seeking an Senior Acquisition Program Manager who will provide Training Systems Management support as well as acquisition related support to the F-22 program office. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening). Proficiency with developing presentations and written documents for executive-level review and consumption is a must. The candidate must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, fluid environment and enjoy problem solving .
Job Summary
Successfully hired candidate will provide critical management of the F-22 Pilot and Maintenance Training Systems programs and the development, procurement, and sustainment of the supporting simulation systems for the Raptor training enterprise.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide support in the identification of all factors that must be considered to perform the acquisition of production, maintenance, upgrade, supportability improvements, and modernization of the F-22 Pilot Training Systems and Maintenance Training Systems
Work closely with the government program manager in establishing project objectives, plans, and budgets
Develop program documentation to support Request for Proposal, Milestone Decisions and Acquisition Strategy
Provide technical analysis integration of such aspects of program management as engineering, procurement, financial management, environmental management, configuration
Ensure program requirements and statements of work capture and are planned to the level of detail required for execution
Employ integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a number of functional disciplines
Provide recommendations on the overall Acquisition Strategy, to include tailoring of milestone requirements and documentation
Assist with drafting, reviewing, updating, and coordinating acquisition briefings
Assist with drafting, reviewing, updating, coordinating of various acquisition-related products/documents and support materials necessary for the life cycle management of the prescribed system
Ability to brief program requirements and schedules to a variety of customers .
Basic Qualifications
MS/MA is required and 10+ years of directly related experience with a minimum of five years of which must be within the DoD. Or
BS / BA in related field is required and 12+ years of directly related experience with a minimum of three years of must be within the DoD Or
15+ years of directly related experience with proper certifications, with five of which must be in the DoD
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a Secret Clearance with the ability to gain SAP
