Director of Security

The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a Director of Security. The Director of Security oversees and coordinates security operations of all Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc (MBN) facilities and the security assessment of all employees and contract staff. Incumbent works closely with MBN's facilities staff to insure that all assets are safeguarded and that only authorized person have access to facilities as appropriate; identifies security initiatives and standards. The incumbent manages the contract guard force in the U.S. The incumbent requires a Top-Secret Security clearance to ensure access to information significant to MBN personnel and physical security issues.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities noted with bullets are considered to be the essential functions of the job).Supervises the U.S. guard force and manage all aspects of the contract.Develops and implement global security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security.Collects and reviews SF 86s (Questionnaire for National Security Positions) on selected applicants (full time employees and contract staff). Analyze information provided, in accordance with applicable policies and guidelines, and grant/deny security approval for employment processing.Conducts personnel security interviews of candidates for staff positions; assess areas of concern triggered through routine vetting and records checks of applicable law enforcement/security agencies.Facilitates protection from and resolution of theft, threats, and other situations which may endanger the wellbeing of the organization.Briefs senior management on sensitive personnel security investigations and counterintelligence issues.Addresses emerging security concerns without delay, sometimes requiring immediate action with little notice; oversee incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches.Analyzes and evaluate intelligence data obtained from various open source reporting and liaison with U.S. Government officials, to identify any security issues which may affect MBN global operations.Oversees the preparation of the corporate emergency preparedness guide.Supervises electronic security contractors in the installation/service of new and existing access control/video surveillance systems. Provide for regular review of global security measures.Establishes and pursues objectives to insure the safety of all employees around the world.Maintains relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.OTHER DUTIES:

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional job related duties and take on other responsibilities as dictated by events and circumstances.

QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred,Minimum of 5 years of responsible security management experience that includes facility security, investigation and crisis management,In-depth knowledge of security systems, safety, loss prevention, law enforcement, and current security issues including anti-terrorism,Successful background with a federal law enforcement agency, or other applicable experience, that will afford an established network of contacts preferred,Ability to strategically assess company's global security needs,Security experience in an International setting preferred.
