Job Duties

To provide support and leadership for the development and management of education and training initiatives (with a focus on public health workforce development); To support public health education and training for NSU and the Joint School of Public Health at Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University.

Core Responsibilities:• Provide coordination and support for programs or projects focused on public health education and training• Apply knowledge of education and training best practices• Conduct program planning and development• Engage in program implementation aligned with priorities, policies and procedures• Provides training for staff and other collaborators• Contributes to program evaluations and reporting• Contribute to policy development and analysis• Performs research and analysis on specific issues, as required• Plans and implements special projects or events

Minimum Qualifications• At least three (3) years of experience coordinating programs

Additional Considerations• A bachelor's degree or higher in public health or education/training• Training in public health• Experience setting up new programs
