The HRIS Manager is responsible for supporting people strategies through an integrated approach to collecting, storing, analyzing and optimizing the flow of people data and information throughout the organization. This role participates in the design, build, and execution of the HR system administration (Workday), data integrity, data analysis, consultation, and reporting that supports business needs and HR areas of recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance management, talent management, safety, succession planning, learning and development, and reporting and dashboards. In addition, this role works with other business units and vendor partners to monitor and manage recurring data feeds, exports, and interfaces, and serves as subject-matter expert to evaluate, analyze, develop, and maintain the company's HRIS system (Workday). This role is part of the Human Resources team.

Here's more of what you will do... (OK, not all in one day!) HRIS Project Management Works directly with business users to assess business needs and translate those needs into effective solutions that align with project initiatives. Assesses the feasibility of systems enhancements or process changes and their impact on HR application and ancillary systems. Identifies operational/functional objectives for business projects by gathering information, evaluating requirements and solutions, authoring functional specifications, and translating ambiguous business problems into recommended concrete data and information solutions. Participates in meetings to perform analysis of change requests and/or recommendations and translates into proper system requirements. Provides administrative and operational support for HR systems and other applications as identified. Investigates and resolves system-related issues and supports the business with escalating issues to the appropriate vendor or internal system owner. Leads system testing efforts to ensure successful updates. Cross-functional Collaboration and HRIS Support Works collaboratively to provide the organization with HRIS subject-matter expertise and system analysis and management.

Develops HR/Payroll reports using appropriate tools and provides data analysis support to HR and other business units. Creates ad hoc reports for all modules. Works with Learning and Development team to identify training needs of end users, develops training materials and provides the necessary training to meet those needs. Assists departments/teams with technical issues related to the use of HRIS system. Reviews processes and procedures to implement changes to improve department performance and service levels for performance management, talent management, succession planning, and career management. Assists departments/teams in the creation of queries to select and compile information from the HRIS system as needed. Develops reports, dashboards and other business metric tracking and reporting to support business needs. Keeps abreast of federal, state and local HR-related laws and regulations to ensure company compliance from a HR systems perspective. HRIS Administration Performs user administration, security role setups and workflow maintenance for business applications as appropriate.

Maintains system setup and table maintenance, including configuration and customization changes. Monitors and ensures daily, weekly or monthly interfaces (3rd party or internal) process correctly and troubleshoot any failed processes. Works with internal audit partner, end users and IT to ensure SOX compliance by developing auditing processes to ensure data integrity and system accuracy. Coordinates new software releases and system updates with SaaS providers and the business. Troubleshoots production system issues and follows-through to resolution.
