Global Product Manager/Product Owner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager/Product Owner to join our team within the Genomics business at Bio-Rad.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the qPCR/Digital PCR market along with a demonstrated ability to execute on their vision for the development of new software and web products. Equally important is a strong understanding of q/dPCR assays and current industry best practices around the eCommerce of these kinds of products.As Product Owner for the Digital Assays Portal, you will be responsible for gathering voice of customer data, performing usability evaluations, and conducting alpha and beta tests with users to develop the product vision. You will work closely with a cross-functional team in a highly matrixed organization and must possess strong communication skills.Your role will encompass working closely with a development team, including translating customer needs into actionable product requirements, providing guidance on backlog prioritization, and communicating the product vision to the development team and the broader organization. You will ensure that feature implementation meets customer needs and drives differentiated value to the business. You will have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles and participate in the creation of product content, sales materials, and outbound campaigns.In addition, you will collaborate globally with commercial teams to collect customer inputs, competitive intelligence, and market trends. This information will be used to inform the creation of a strategic global marketing plan and product roadmap, aligned with the company and divisional goals.
How You'll Make An Impact:Use data-driven decision making to prioritize what the team works on to maximize the value of our products to customers.Operate in an innovative genomics field where new technologies are being developed to advance scientific applications.Translate complex ideas into simple concepts and align the organization to the vision for our customers.
What You Bring:Education: BS in Biological Science or related discipline (master's or PhD degree highly desirable).Work Experience: 3-5 years of Product Management Marketing experience working within the context of a software development team is highly desirable.Strong understanding of scrum or other agile development methodologies a plus.Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, for a variety of global stakeholders both internally and externally.Experience working through challenges that arise in product development and commercialization - timelines, technical risks, and market dynamics - with professionalism and a positive attitude.Knowledge of the qPCR and dPCR markets.Ability to communicate the product vision to the development team and the broader organization.Demonstrated understanding of how PCR assays work.Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team and highly matrixed organization.Experience gathering voice of customer data and performing usability evaluations.Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements.Experience collaborating globally with commercial teams to collect customer inputs, competitive intelligence, and market trends.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $102,200 to $140,500 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.Who We Are:
