About the TeamPerformance & Incentives (P&I) are powerful tools for furthering the company's strategic goals. A robust Performance & Incentives (P&I) strategy influences the organization's ability to attract and retain the best talent, while creating a strong alignment of individuals' interests with the organization's strategic goals. The Performance & Incentives team at ByteDance, therefore, are constantly benchmarking and striving for the best practice & return on investment in developing competitive C&B policies.

The Performance & Incentives team works on a lot of interesting problems. Whether it is developing new world-class compensation policies, diving deep into market research, analyzing big data and benchmarking. Specifically, for our P&I-Long-Term Incentives team in the US, we are dedicated to designing, communicating, and operating RSU-related policies to find the best way to serve both the company and employees. And given the nature of our work, it also creates huge opportunities for collaboration with departments in and outside of the HR organization.

Responsibilities1. Payment and Receipt Work: Recognition of cash tax payments by employees, communication with employees about their bank account status (e.g., no account provided or incorrect account provided), collection from indebted employees, and preparation of agreements for cash-settled employees, etc.2. Oncall Work: Basic oncall tasks, such as why tax is paid during the settlement of RSU in the US, how to calculate the buyback quota, etc.

This role is a 12-month temporary assignment payrolled through a third party agency

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, particularly in Compensation or HR Operations (e.g., employee oncall/communication, payment processes)- Detail-oriented, data-sensitive, and proficient in Excel and other Office software- Ability to manage operational processes and exercise sound judgment, backing up proposals with data

Preferred Qualifications- Experienced in LTI-related operational work experience, corporate experience preferred;- Knowledge of LTI programs and relevant tax and compliance requirements;- With LTI-related administration work experience, corporate experience preferred;- Excellent communications skills;- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, multi-tasking and self-driven
