Job Overview:The Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager will oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring that plumbing and HVAC systems are installed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing commercial construction projects and will play a critical role in coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:Manage the full lifecycle of commercial plumbing and HVAC projects, from planning through completion.Lead and supervise project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff.Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure projects meet design specifications and timelines.Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work complies with design and safety standards.Ensure compliance with all commercial building codes and industry regulations.Prepare project reports and communicate updates to senior management and clients.Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the course of the project.Oversee change orders and ensure proper documentation for all project modifications.Qualifications:
Proven experience managing commercial construction projects, specifically in plumbing and HVAC.In-depth knowledge of commercial plumbing and HVAC systems, installations, and best practices.Strong understanding of commercial building codes, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and subcontractors.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore) and basic office tools.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial plumbing/HVAC.PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.Benefits:
