Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior MDM Engineer with expertise in VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch) to manage and support the company's mobile device management (MDM) platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering, administration, and troubleshooting of MDM infrastructure, preferably in banking or similar industries. This role involves supporting the full lifecycle of mobile devices, ensuring compliance, and maintaining security policies across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide Level 2 and 3 support for end users and troubleshoot MDM-related issues.
•Manage and maintain the MDM solution using Workspace ONE/AirWatch.
•Oversee device inventory, procurement, deployment, and decommissioning processes.
•Implement security policies, application configurations, and compliance standards for mobile devices.
•Manage approved mobile application stores and whitelist new applications.
•Maintain relationships with carriers and manage mobile services.
•Engineer mobility solutions, including next-generation MDM platforms.
•Support the MDM infrastructure, including on-premises components and Workspace ONE cloud connectivity.
•Ensure disaster recovery environments are maintained and operational.
Required Qualifications
•BS in Information Technology or equivalent experience with relevant certifications.
•Expertise in VMware Workspace ONE UEM & Workspace ONE Access (AirWatch).
•Proficiency with Apple DEP/ABM/VPP/APNS and Android EMM/Work Profile management.
•Familiarity with iOS/Android device profiles, UEM compliance policies, and repositories.
•Experience managing mobile applications such as Hub, Boxer, Content, Web, and Tunnel.
•Knowledge of LDAP/Directory Services, Secure LDAP, and VPN tunneling technologies.
•Understanding of Active Directory (AD) groups, OUs, and assignment groups in UEM environments.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with O365/Federated Authentication, certificates, and API integrations.
•Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery (DR) environments.
•Experience with ServiceNow for incident management and change tracking.
•Skills in Windows Server administration.
