Job Description
As a
Product Manager II,
you will play an important role in shaping and executing the strategy for a diverse portfolio of products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure these products meet customer needs and align with our organizational goals. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and drive business outcomes through innovative and data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Roadmap Management:Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and objectives.Independently execute the product management process from start to finish.Strategic Alignment:
Map product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enterprise Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).Prioritize work that delivers the highest customer value and drives business objectives.Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market trends.Utilize research and audience data to inform product vision and decision-making.Innovation and Experimentation:
Identify areas for innovation and conduct experiments to create products that enhance customer value.Customer-Centric Approach:
Maintain a near-term view of how the product portfolio addresses customer needs and drives business impact.Make trade-off decisions to prioritize high-value capabilities.Product Development Lifecycle:
Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of product capabilities.Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze product performance, including user engagement and revenue.Use data to inform product decisions and optimize performance.Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day product operations, including product and project status, software releases, and monthly status reports.Conduct post-launch reviews and incorporate feedback into product improvements.Metrics and Documentation:
Define and track key performance metrics to measure product success.Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including requirements, user stories, and specifications.Qualifications:
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field with 6 years of experience in product management or a related field.Alternatively, 8+ years of experience without a degree.Proven track record of achieving positive customer and business outcomes through product delivery.
Technical and Analytical Skills:
Experience leading product development from ideation to launch.Proficiency in facilitating scope, design, and requirements discussions with cross-functional teams.Strong technology aptitude, particularly in website management, digital marketing, e-commerce, payments, and CRM/audience management solutions.
Methodologies and Practices:
Familiarity with technical software delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Waterfall).Knowledge of process engineering, change management, and business management methodologies.
Communication and Collaboration:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.Ability to facilitate and resolve disagreements over scope, design, and requirements.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of current technology offerings and emerging trends.Proficiency in testing methodologies and user acceptance techniques.
Results-Driven:
Proven record of completing work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, web analytics tools, and collaboration tools.
