PACCAR Leasing, a PACCAR division, was founded in 1980 to provide premium Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicles to leasing and rental customers. Requisition Summary
Overall responsibility of day-to-day operations of the Company Store maintenance facility of 350+ trucks. We are looking for an experienced Service Manager for full-service lease who understands the need to communicate with multiple dealers and location contacts in Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX.
Job Functions
The design, implementation, supervision and maintenance of a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance program, Parts Inventory and Tool Management programs to ensure adequate working conditions and equipment with proper cost control in accordance with Pac Lease standards and policies.General supervision of Service Department personnel. To include: all Supervisors, Technicians and Service Staff.Determine adequate service shift schedules, service sequences and assignment for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnelManage and monitor employees' work levels and appraise work performance.Manage and provide developmental direction to employees.Recommend or initiate personnel actions such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.Conduct or arrange employee training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures or equipment use.Actively and consistently participate in recruitment activities at relevant technical schools.Investigate accidents and injuries and create corrective action plans as needed.Foster and grow a collaborative service team with a shared vision on team building, employee development and motivation.Establish and maintain cost control guidelines to effectively manage Profit & Loss statement.The implementation of forms / registers relating to the control of maintenance, the inventory of tires and tires on rims as well as repairs.Knowledge of the operation of the various warranty programs and the negotiation of courtesies with suppliers when these have expired.Job Responsibilities

Listening to and understanding customer needs.The establishment of performance standards to ensure the quality of products and services and the achievement of objectives.Maintaining positive relationships with vendors and customers, including dispute resolution, customer retention and identification of new initiatives.Administration
Administrative duties to include, but not limited to, management of timely accounting of purchase orders, repair orders, warranty processing, parts inventory, computerized reports and processing of shop paperwork.The production of computerized reports and the processing of workshop documents.Establishing and maintaining cost control guidelines to effectively manage the income statement.Control of tool and parts inventories as well as the condition and maintenance of the workshop to ensure adequate working conditions and positive cost control.Management of quarterly inventory audits and adherence to timely inventory management activities including the return of parts and carcasses (cores).Analyzing budget variances and implementing corrective measures to avoid cost overruns.The selection, when required, of external suppliers and the negotiation of rate agreements.Skills / Competencies
5 years of relevant experience in the maintenance of a commercial heavy-, medium-duty Lease and Rental equipment desired.3 years of relevant experience in supervising and coaching staff, ideally managing a team of 5 or more employees. Two or more years related administrative or commercial vehicle experience.Effective Customer Service skills; both written and verbal.Strong skills in Leadership, Management, Organization, Communication (presenting, influencing, negotiating, networking), Self-Motivation, and Adaptability are essential.Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, etc.).Experience with general accounting practices; accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections and financial reporting experience.High attention to detail & demonstrates highly organized and self-driven characteristics.Ability to support multiple levels of professionals including senior managers.Ability to prioritize workload based on changing goals in a fast-paced environment.Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.Computerized billing experience desired.Paccar Benefits
