The Property Damage Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the overall productivity and personnel of the Property Damage Coverage Unit. Scope of the position includes ensuring compliance with State mandated claims handling guidelines, understanding of policy language and coverages, as well as assuring proper investigation and conclusions of claims. Position also includes, monitoring production, staff development and the quality of files assigned to the Unit.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, motivate, and provide direction to the unit adjustersConduct file and diary reviews for the purpose of monitoring adjuster's work and to assure appropriate documentation is available, fair claim settlement practices are followed, and company quality standards are maintainedPlace appropriate authority level on claim files based upon determination of coverage, investigation of facts and approve settlement checks within authorityReview reports and support the implementation of procedures which improve overall claim settlement process, customer service levels, and ensure that desired quality and quantity levels are maintainedOversee the implementation and monitoring of procedures to assure effectiveness and complianceDetermine training needs of the department / unit, establish and participate in programs to ensure training needs of personnel and processesIdentify Systems issues / concerns and make suggestions for enhancementsManage the administrative functions of the unit which include:Review, provide direction and assign new lossesSetting performance objectives and monitoring performance resultsConduct performance appraisalsDaily review of files for payment approvals over adjuster authority and the transfer of files to appropriate areas (SIU, Litigation, Total Loss, Subrogation, etc.)Conduct unit meetingsReview and respond to Department of Insurance inquiriesReview and direct claim activity on customer inquiriesAssure all compliance and customer service regulations / initiatives are met

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

5+ years auto liability claims experienceStrong technical and administrative background in auto claims handlingAbility to work independently on technical and administrative matters in accordance with company policy and proceduresBackground in personnel selection, goal setting, monitoring and communicating performanceGood leadership, training and development skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed claim adjuster / supervisorThe Warrior Insurance Network's member companies offer a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees to include:
