As the primary manager of our social media presence and website, the Marketing Coordinator will utilize skills in photography, videography, and design to enhance brand awareness and attract prospective families. Key Responsibilities
Social Media
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy focused on driving inquiries, supporting re-enrollment, and meeting fundraising goals.Create compelling daily content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) using photography, videography, and graphic design, ensuring a consistent brand voice.Stay ahead of social media trends, providing insights and recommendations to enhance engagement.Analyze social media metrics and connect insights to enrollment, re-enrollment, and fundraising efforts.Website
Regularly update website content to enhance user experience and effectively inform prospective families.Monitor website analytics, using data to inform strategies that drive inquiries and support enrollment goals.Collaborate with web development partners for significant website updates.Photography
Capture and convey the Wellington story through photo and some video documentation of classroom activities and school events for various platforms.Oversee Vidigami, our secure photo-sharing platform, ensuring it showcases our community effectively.Marketing Campaign Support
Assist in the strategic planning and execution of admissions and development campaigns, and school-wide initiatives.Coordinate with freelance creatives-designers, photographers, and videographers-for major campaigns and events.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field1-3 years of experience in a marketing roleA passion for exploring trends and innovating strategiesSelf-motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStellar visual, written, and oral communication skillsStrong knowledge of social media platforms and current trendsProficient in graphic design tools such as Canva; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plusBasic photography and videography skills; experience with a DSLR camera is a plusExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesEnthusiastic about contributing to a close-knit, collaborative teamWillingness to work some evenings and weekendsCommitment to diversity, equity, and inclusivity in all professional practicesWe believe every person plays a role in making Wellington a diverse, equitable, and inclusive place to learn, teach, and work.
