Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California.
We are currently seeking a Talent Acquistion Specialist for our Marion, AR location.
This position is responsible for providing support to the Talent Acquisition Team to in is responsible for full cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening, and recommending placement of staff using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).
Key Responsibilities:
Determine and implement recruiting best practices.Partner with managers to determine requirements for the position and the qualities of an ideal candidate.Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as social media recruitment, career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, etc.Administer employee referral programConduct phone interviews and face to face interviews. Schedule interviews for internal and external applicants.Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to provide information on the interview process status.Assist with internal recruitment process, verify that all openings are posted internally and externally, including screening of internal applications, coordination of interview with hiring manager, promotion process, offer letter, etc.Administer background investigations with administrative assistance.Draft offer letters, prepare new hire paperwork, and create employee files.Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations concerning employment, including Affirmative Action Plan compliance.Create relationships with universities and post positions on university web sites as needed.Assist with recruitment strategy development on a regular basis.Perform other related duties as assigned.Experience and Educational:
1-3 years of previous recruitment or human resources experienceHigh School Diploma or GEDRequired Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to assess and evaluate candidate qualificationsKnowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and industry trendsAbility to negotiate and close deals with candidatesTime-management skills and multitasking abilityAbility to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers
