Our client is looking for a dynamic Ecommerce/Digital Marketing Manager to join the inaugural team of a new home and lifestyle brand. This role will report to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for building and driving profitability. This role will manage the development of our new DTC site, develop/execute digital marketing & ecommerce strategies to support the company's eCommerce revenue goals, and be the company's subject matter expert in tactics to drive performance & growth. The ideal candidate is data-driven, technically competent, detail-oriented, creative problem solver and has a proven track record in performance marketing.
Oversee the development, design, and systems integration for new DTC site from the definition phase through to implementationCreate and implement processes and procedures for developing and integrating new e-commerce site with backend systems, including pricing, inventory, and customer relationship databasesIncrease conversion and average order size through site merchandise management of best sellers, product promotions, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities; ensure the categorization, imagery, copy, translations, pricing and promotions are accurate and meet brand guidelinesCreate and execute an SEO and content strategy that increases organic traffic, engagement and conversionPerform constant A/B testing on website content, layout, messaging, and user interface to make performance-based decisions and recommendations for conversion optimization.Manage delivery logistics (internal and 3PL) and post-purchase feedback for an excellent customer experienceIntegrate marketing technologies by setting up and customizing tracking pixels and custom events within Google Tag Manager, working with the developer to expose data in the data layer as neededOversee all digital marketing with cross-functional partners and outside agencies to create and deploy channel-based DTC marketing strategies and tactics, including email marketing, SMS marketing, content marketing, paid media, re-targeting, affiliate marketing, SEO, and CRM effortsProduce, analyze, and deliver reporting on digital marketing KPIs including, but not limited to, revenue, cost, transactions, ROAS, ROI, traffic, CPC, CPA, CR, and overall growth and health of digital marketing channelsMaximize the lifetime value of existing customers as well as continue to acquire new customersPartner with Head of Marketing on setting annual project roadmap to achieve growth goals and deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience across marketing, merchandising, and operationsProvide thought leadership, innovation, and process optimization for ecommerce DTC businessBring It!
BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent experience5+ years business experience in D2C/ecomm company with a proven track record in leading/growing web salesExperience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe AnalyticsProficiency in Google Ads and Facebook Ads ManagerExperience with managing and optimizing online marketing tactics and CRM with an emphasis on efficient spending to generate high ROISmall business experience preferredIn-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, search engine optimization and technical factors that influence rankingMagento expertise preferred, understanding of setting up Magento 2 integrations, including configuration, testing in a dev environment and troubleshootingAbility to work in fast-paced environment with the flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedulesStrong interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to foster a cooperative, results-driven work environment
