We are looking for a

Material Program Manager

to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the

Director, Program Management

and will be based in

San Jose, CA.

This is a fully on-site, in office role.

The Supply Chain Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring operational success for New Product Introduction (NPI). In this role, you will be responsible for procuring engineering materials, equipment, and tooling in support of NPI requirements. This is a supply chain role, interacting with our Suppliers and internal core teams, encompassing critical component planning, quoting, and procurement. Their objective is to assist the Engineering team in obtaining materials, equipment, and tooling to support product development timelines. Ensuring appropriate focus on supply chain execution is critical to enable Time to Market, Cost Entitlement & Supply Base Capability.

Responsibilities:

Interact with NPI Engineers, Production Leadership and Buyers regarding materials, tooling, and equipment manufacturing requirements.Validate build requirements providing Engineers with feedback, guidance and prioritization.Requirements:

At least 5 years Project Management experienceBA degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not requiredExcellent project management skillsExperience supporting the mechanical engineering function of a CM (Contract Manufacturer) helpfulExperience working in a high volume production manufacturing environment
