Since 2009, the company has developed an expansive partner ecosystem to intelligently integrate electric vehicles into the power grid, including electric vehicle charger manufacturers, 750+ installation companies, 65+ energy suppliers, and automotive manufacturers ranging from Audi to Tesla.About The RoleThis role is a critical function in a newly formed Vehicle Grid Integration (VGI) business unit in North America to lead product strategy. The opportunity for VGI is massive and a very exciting time to work in this space, but it is an early market shifting quickly that needs a product manager with a creative imagination and hard analytic skills. This is a strategic role that will refine the company direction of the V1G and V2G products in North America, as well as an execution role that will support delivery of those products. The candidate will need to be flexible to take on tasks beyond this job description and step in where needed to support sales, partnerships and operations as the business grows. The goal of the role is to develop products and services that solidify The Mobility House’s leadership in smart charging and bidirectional charging. While this role is aimed at those experienced in VPPs and EV charging, we are flexible and prioritizing candidates with a dedication to solving the climate crisis by accelerating the clean energy transition.This position will report to the VP of Vehicle Grid Integration.ResponsibilitiesDefine the product requirements for the North American VGI solution, [SW1] including energy services, use cases, user requirements, software, and bidirectional hardware.Develop and own the product roadmap for energy services in regulated and deregulated markets; clearly communicate to all internal stakeholders.Interface with global product management teams and software development teams to ensure solutions align with other business units and wider company strategy.Interview customers and end users to refine the product strategy and product development roadmap.Meet with automakers, charger manufacturers, developers, installers and other key stakeholders to determine technical requirements for the deployment of VGI solutions.Interface with any partners, vendors and suppliers required for the VGI technology solution.Gather market intelligence and track the competitive landscape, providing analysis and insights on required feature development.Represent the company at industry events.Although not a hard requirement for the role, a desire for candidates that can execute building the products defined. This may include desired features within a user app, API integrations with third-parties or other feature development.Candidates with some hardware experience welcome, especially product requirements knowledge of DC charging stations.CompetenciesTechnical Expertise : General technical understanding, or better yet engineering knowledge, enables effective customer and partner communication.EV or Energy Knowledge : knowledge of the EV or energy industry to quickly collaborate with industry partners.Proactive:

Preferred work experience directly in bidirectional charging, aggregation and energy management (VGI, V1G, V2G, V2H, V2X).Business acumen and technical competence on electrical systems.Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate direction with limited information.Attention to detail and capability to manage diverse and large-scale projects.Ability to present complex topics in a simple and clear format to executive management.Ability to work cross functionality and across geographies.Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and make decisions accordingly.BenefitsCompetitive compensation –
