The HRIS Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing our HRIS, timekeeping, and other HR systems, as well as providing both administrative-user and end-user support. This role also provides troubleshooting, documentation, module optimization and enhancements as needed, along with researching and recommending improvements for current and future HRIS needs. This is a hybrid role, primarily working remotely, and then working at our Bay Area locations as needed. On rare occasions, travel to other locations may be required.

Our HRIS Specialist:

Serves as subject matter expert (SME) and administrator for HRIS and timekeeping systems, including sharing reports with leaders and key internal customers.Processes access requests and provides HRIS training to team members.Supports the new hire data management to include onboarding documentation, background screens, license and certification tracking, and creation/maintenance of team member files.Researches and analyzes HR data and prepares reports as requested by HR leadership and management.Responsible for HRIS system maintenance and supporting strategies and processes that utilize workforce data to improve operational efficiency.Assists with management, training, roll-out and implementation of any new HR systems and resources.Manages ongoing and systematic approach to data quality, data integrity, and overall HR data hygiene.Collaborates across all functions to help drive process and system improvement initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence.Builds strong relationships with the HR, payroll, and finance teams, along with leaders, team members, and other stakeholders in communities and affiliates.Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility, and demonstrate commitment to Culture of Excellence and strategic goalsPerforms other duties as assigned.What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.PMP or other project management experience preferred.2 or more years of experience in an HR Generalist or related role5 years of experience managing HR systems, with at least 3 years supporting Workday.Experience supporting BambooHR and ADP is preferred.Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations relative to labor and employment issues (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, ).Advanced experience in HR reporting and analytics.Thorough understanding of California human principles and practices, including, but not limited to, hiring practices, wage and hour requirements, employment law, and EEOProficient in Microsoft 365(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) required and SharePoint site management preferred. Very strong proficiency in Excel analysis skills preferred.Must have strong critical thinking skills, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.Commitment to managing and maintaining confidentiality, honesty and integrity is required in thisExperience working in senior living or healthcare isMission-driven and desire to make a positive impact in theOutstanding written and verbal communication and presentation Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.Ability to prioritize multiple projects of varying complexity.Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology through self-directed learning.Strong customer service skills: service oriented, with a desire to meet or exceed expectations and meet project deadlines.Must have previously worked in a remote or hybrid work environment.Able to travel to locations across Bay Area as needed, and on occasion, to areas of California.Compensation and Benefits
