Onboarding Specialist - HR Talent Acquisition

Provide primary support for Talent Acquisition and Compensation Teams, and SBH Departments in reviewing, tracking, and reconciling position management. The HR onboarding specialist will assist with inter-department onboarding of incoming candidates. The HR onboarding specialist will manage all posting schedules under 1199, JSF, and SBH, and will track internal transfer applications for departmental review. The HR Onboarding Specialist will generate multiple reports, including, vacancy reports, Active & Draft reports, PAF transition reports for HR and SBH Departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Generate tracking and updated Active & Drafts, and Vacancy reports for Compensation & TA Teams.Write and post all vacancies consistent with organizational policies and collective bargaining agreements, including in-house internal posting scheduleAssist in onboarding with incoming candidatesAssist in management and coordination of internal transfer and transition requests with PAF's.Comply with all regulatory agency standards in the recruitment and on-boarding process.Manage Applicant Tracking System to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment and on-boarding process for SBH & UCHC.Apply Collective Bargaining Agreements as necessary for positions including, but not limited to posting requirements.Any duty as may be assigned within the scope of the job. BA/BS degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.Minimum Related Experience
Minimum of one year experience in HR or Talent Acquisition. New grads will be considered.Demonstrates understanding of EEO guidelines and what constitutes potential discriminatory pre-employment practices.Experienced in working at a healthcare/hospital setting, or knowledgeable of the healthcare/hospital industry.Familiarity with union environments and Collective Bargaining AgreementsExperienced in scheduling, coordinatingMinimum Certification Requirements
PHR and/or SHRM-CP preferredMinimum Computer Skills
Some experience with various HRIS Systems: ADP, Kronos, Taleo, etc.Advanced knowledge of MS Word/Excel, Internet and Outlook.Advance knowledge of advertising media and websites.General Skills
Good listening and organizational skills.Ability to coordinate and plan timely eventsAbility to multi-task and manage competing priorities.Exceptional written and oral communicationEffective time-management capabilities
