In this pivotal role, The Director, Global Operations & Corporate Centers FP&A will lead a team of financial analysts that provide support to Risk, Operations, HR, Legal, Strategy and Operations leadership.

Role Responsibilities

Own the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk & opportunities processes for Global Operations and Corporate Centers. This includes oversight of the expense base, capital expenditures, and long-term financial forecasts.

Collaborate closely with Western Union's Executive Team (ET) to build financial plans and forecasts, support key business decisions, and deliver insights into how operational strategies drive financial results.

Manage the ongoing reporting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of financial performance updates. This includes tracking key metrics and presenting insights on projects and initiatives.

Drive productivity efforts by identifying cost-saving opportunities across operations while managing workforce plans and investment spend.

Ensure consistency in financial processes by codifying best practices, policies, and ways of working across teams, reducing exceptions, and driving accountability.

Lead and develop the FP&A team, fostering skill growth and capability building as part of the Finance talent management strategy.

Contribute to the company's strategic planning process, including long-range financial forecasting and analysis of long-term investments.

Prepare and present financial presentations to senior leaders, providing critical analysis and insights into actual results, forecasts, and future financial plans.

Role Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Significant experience in multinational organizations, with a preference for experience in a matrix organization.

At least 5 to 10 years of people management experience, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

Proven ability to build strong, productive relationships with executive management, peers, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across diverse business units.

Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial models, trends, and data. Proven success in building accurate forecasts and projecting financial performance based on data analysis.

Highly analytical with strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage complex financial models and projections with high accuracy.

Strong leadership in implementing policies, procedures, and best practices to support organizational objectives and drive operational improvements.

The ability to engage confidently with C-Suite leaders, navigate a complex, global organization, and influence decisions.

Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of accuracy and motivation to drive results.

Salary

The base salary range is $170,000 - $190,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus long-term and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
