JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Personal Lines Associate Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for our clients. This position is responsible for answering questions, making policy changes, and working alongside others within the department in the management of personal accounts. The Personal Lines Associate Account Manager position requires a combination of excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through advising and responding to all correspondence in a quick and accurate manner
Timely and accurately process policy changes including mortgage changes, auto and property additions and deletions, address changes, and moreHandle all cancellations with care, with adherence to E&O guidelinesAnswer questions regarding all lines of coverage, and assisting with plan and/or carrier changes, claims, and billing
Review current insurance programs offering the right coverage at a competitive priceSupport Risk Advisors by exercising independent judgment and discretion to:
Communicate and educate clients on policies as neededEvaluate and process client requests to ensure appropriate coverage is metResolve inquiries on service problems, billing, and claims to ensure client satisfaction
Work collaboratively on a team to monitor and complete tasks in different workflows including, but not limited to: shared email inboxes, phone ring groups, and the agency documentation systemMaintain client files in the agency management system following standard company policies and procedures, ensuring #oneTEAM's mission of serviceSchedule, attend, and participate in personal lines meetings, trainings, and classesDevelop and maintain positive and effective relationships with partner insurance carriersEnter activity and other relevant documentation accurately into the company's software system(s) in accordance with company proceduresFollow all federal and state regulations, and best practices for avoiding errors and omissionsContinue professional development; pursue and maintain licensing and designations as applicableStay up to date on industry trends and best practicesRequirements
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
A combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school degree, bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 3 years customer service experienceWillingness to obtain an insurance licenseDemonstrated success in customer serviceExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail with organizational skills, demonstrating ability to prioritize tasks effectivelySelf-starter who takes initiative to identify problems and lead by exampleAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteBEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Incumbents must be able to use telephones, calculators, copy machines, computers, printers, and other office equipment.

The work environment is primarily indoors.
