Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager
to lead and oversee food safety initiatives for a well-known and respected Food Manufacturing Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the company's food safety and quality control efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing robust food safety protocols and leading a high-performing team committed to excellence.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of food safety and quality systems, including SQF and HACCP programsEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and maintain communication with regulatory bodiesSupervise and mentor the food safety team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluationsMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations, and serve as the main point of contact for external audits and certificationsContinuously review and refine quality assurance processes to ensure consistent adherence to product specifications and safety protocolsQualifications:Required: SQF Practitioner and HACCP CertificationsExperience in the beef industry, with a preference for experience on the slaughter sideExtensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices3-5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilitiesPreferred: Bilingual proficiencyWhy Join:Work with a well-respected industry leaderFamily-owned and operated for over 70 yearsFlexible start and stop timesAttractive compensation packagePAID RELOCATION AVAILABLE
