Piper Companies is hiring a Sr. Solutions Architect for a Large Data Center Organization located in Ashburn, VA. The Sr. Solutions Architect will support the sales team in developing and closing sales by providing cloud expertise, as well as a deep networking and infrastructure design acumen. The Sr. Solutions Architect will need to sit on site in Ashburn, VA 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Solutions Architect:
Act as a technical advisor for customers and the sales team to architect creative and complex IT/cloud and networking service delivery solutionsArticulate solution benefits to both technical and non technical audiencesProvide leadership and mentoring to the sales team and other internal and external thought leadersImprove probability of close, increase deal size and help to expand globallyRequirements of the Sr. Solutions Architect:
Experience working in Pre-sales as a Solutions Architect is requiredAbility, confidence and experience working with leadership, speak at conferences and write articles/blogs/vlogsExperience with OEM/Hardware - any physical infrastructure (CPU, Storage, Security Components, etc.)Technical and commercial knowledge of MPLS and IPVPN topologies and architecture is requiredExperience with Routing and Switching protocolsExperience with public, private and hybrid cloud services and deploymentThis role requires the candidate to sit on site 2-3 days per week, 1-2 days of travel per month for client meetings and 1-2 days per year for conferences.
Compensation for the Sr. Solutions Architect:
$175,000-$205,000 base, plus 40% bonus and Long term incentive planFull comprehensive benefits
