Job Overview
The Director of Contracts will serve as the lead for a geographically dispersed contracts team, providing strategic support to the Base Operations line of business.
Work Model: Hybrid
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Drive and lead contract functions with a focus on the opportunity and contract life cycle, including preparing, reviewing, and approving all contractual documents to ensure protection of the company's contractual posture, satisfaction of contract specifications and requirements, identification of risk factors, and adherence to company policy, as well as appropriate laws and regulations.* May assist in reviewing agreements for consistency with laws, government regulations, economic conditions, and company policies.* Work on a wide range of complex programmatic matters and provide expert advice and counsel on contractual- and procurement-related matters.* Conduct change management process with internal team and communicate equitable adjustment rights to customers.* Represent the company with senior level customers, potential customers, and government representatives.* Consult with management in the development of new business or expansion of existing business opportunities.* Additional responsibilities are assigned as needed.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline.* Fifteen (15) years of direct experience in contract administration.* Five (5) years of experience managing a contracts team.* Experience in complex proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and resolution of contractual issues.* Able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Clearance.* Able to travel domestic and internationally as needed to support program and capture needs.
