If you are interested in becoming part of an organization that is innovating senior healthcare visit www.thescangroup.org, www.scanhealthplan.com, or follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.The jobThe Sr. Business Analyst, Provider Data Management will be responsible for researching and mining data, modeling and analyses to develop and support Medicare product innovation and the growth objectives of the organization.You willDesign and develop data solutions to enhance the efficiency of maintaining accurate provider data.Support provider data related reporting and tool development needs to improve efficiency, consistency, effectiveness and/or quality, including but not limited to, network adequacy, operational, and regulatory reporting. Other tasks include database management, development, and troubleshooting, data manipulation, and data analysis.Assist in developing and maintaining standards for database integrity and quality assurance, and coordinate corrective activities to clean database. Other responsibilities include providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and reporting and tracking metrics.Design and implement processes to facilitate the auditing and validation of provider data, support data improvement efforts and participate in developing tools, reporting and metrics for maintaining data integrity.Produce and maintain print and online provider directories and ensure directories are accurate.Resolve data issues encountered during monthly audits. Coordinate data file submissions for pharmacy and provider data.Lead provider data related projects to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.Lead or participate in committees, work groups and/or process improvement teams when needed for system expertise as it relates to provider data.Train team members in use of tools and production of routine reports.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals.Other duties as assigned.
Your qualificationsRequired: Bachelor's degreeA comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed above.5+ years experience in managed care required.Strong data research skills required.Strong MS Office skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Access). Specific expertise with Excel V-look ups and Macros, as well as Access skills needed.Practical experience with Health Plan Management System (HPMS).Practical experience with Quest Analytics Software.Stung Internet search and retrieval skills required.Demonstrated attention to detail and high accuracy in work product.Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills; Ability to multitask.Ability to appropriately maintain confidentiality.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, required.
