Job Purpose
The OT Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for securing and protecting the operational technology (OT) environment, which includes industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and other critical infrastructure components. This role will be hands-on with a focus on the technical aspects of security such as implement cybersecurity measures, conduct risk assessments, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in OT environments. This position requires close collaboration with the Networking, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to achieve the goals of the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Continuously monitor and assess the security posture of OT systems and networks.Collaborate with IT and OT teams to ensure alignment of cybersecurity practices across all technological environments.Maintain comprehensive documentation of OT cybersecurity policies, procedures, incident reports, and incident response plans across multiple facilities.Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities within OT systems and recommend mitigation strategies.Lead investigations and response efforts for cybersecurity incidents within the OT environment, ensuring minimal impact on operations.Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, such as NIST, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001, as well as industry-specific regulations.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure continuous compliance.Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for OT staff to promote awareness and adherence to best practices.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to ensure the security of OT systems.Provide regular reports on the security status of OT environments to senior management.Participate in industry forums and keep up to date with emerging OT cybersecurity threats and solutions.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Education and/or Experience•A degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity)is preferred but not required.•A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity required.•Proven experience with securing OT environments required.•Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, andcompliance standards (e.g., SOX, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC-2).•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Oral, written and listening.•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.•Relevant IT certification (e.g., Network+, CCNA, CISSP, GICSP, CISM) and any OTmonitoring technology (Claroty, Dragos, Nozomi) relevant certifications are preferred.
Reasoning Ability•Problem management / resolution skills; project management skills; generally accepted security principles.•Ability to analyze data, resources, and schedules to make decisions that affect a project on a regular basis.
