Presidio is a leading a global digital services and solutions provider focused on Digital Infrastructure, Business Analytics, Cloud, Security & Emerging solutions.THE ROLE: Inside Solution Architect (Power & Cooling)Job Summary:Presidio has an opportunity for a motivated, smart, energetic individual for the Inside PreSales Support team, working on a team of 3-6 technical Inside Solution Engineers & Architects in a PreSales role. This role will be to provide technical PreSales support services to Presidio's PreSales organization.The Inside Solution Architect is a member of Presidio's National Inside PreSales Support Team supporting the Pre-Sales Engineering organization across Presidio primarily tasked with working closely with local teams of Solution Architects and providing technical assistance to customers, and Presidio Inside Sales organizations.In addition to interfacing with Customers, Account Managers, and Solutions Architects, the Inside Solutions Architect will also be required to work with representatives from our Distribution partner, APC/Schneider Electric, and other manufacturers, as well as multiple teams within Presidio such as Inside Sales, Sales, Project Management, and Service Delivery as required.The ISA is expected to continually develop their technical and industry knowledge and stay up to date on the latest products and trends focused on industry technologies by attending webinars/seminars, training classes, and by closely working with the Solution Architects team on a daily basis. A successful ISA will demonstrate an ability to not only rapidly gain knowledge and understanding of new areas of technology and products but will be eager to understand the business of Presidio and our customers.The Ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated with good work ethics and strong knowledge of technology. Must be committed to customer satisfaction and possess strong oral, written and presentation skills and must be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.The Inside Solution Architect is a mid to senior-level position within the team. This role will focus on execution, continued enablement & training, and being a mentor to more junior team members. People in these roles should be able to perform basic tasks and activities without having their worked reviewed or checked and have an assumption of quality and accuracy. A successful Inside SA will have more than an entry level technical skill level and the ability to deliver any requested service which the Inside PreSales Solution Team is tasked with providing, including service creation and basic design requests. The ISA role provides a potential career path to a customer-facing Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role based on the candidate's ability to learn, grow, and their willingness to achieve goals and expand their skills.Travel Requirements:This position requires occasional travel (few times/year). It will be based in any location in the United States.Job Responsibilities:Create technically accurate and correct Bill of Materials (configurations) for supported technology and productsCreate PreSales Statement of Work documents and Service Pricing Documents to support Presidio service offeringsCreate Solution diagrams, collect & analyze requirements data from customers, and perform other PreSales activities in support of engineering initiativesResearch technical issues, answer customer questions about products, technologies, solutions, and offerings from our OEM partners.Provide configuration support for products and offerings from our key strategic vendorsCreate costing options & estimates for Presidio services and product-based solutionsFollow standard processes and manage workflow related to the creation of pre-sales deliverablesCollaborate with other team members to provide solutions for Presidio's customersWork in a focused and directed manner to improve overall productivity & efficiency across Presidio's PreSales teamParticipate in meetings with customers and sales teams to collect technical requirements from Presidio customers and develop an appropriate technical solutionPerform customer service functions, including interacting with customers and answering questionsWork alone and with others to create of technical configurations, statement of works, proposals, and other PreSales work outputs.Research and evaluate client's infrastructure and architecture; draws conclusions; and develops APC product recommendations in accordance with engagement objectives.Identify and resolve opportunity issues with clients.Deliver briefings, status reports, presentations, and deliverables to clients and prospects.Work collaboratively with Presidio, APC, and other key OEM teams to drive project specification.Lead identification of business and technical requirements.Aid in training Presidio team members on SE offers and resources.Help to build APC pipeline within Presidio and aids in driving business development campaigns from a technical perspectiveBecome proficient in using design tools, like Schneider Electric Edge Configuration design tool

Required Skills:2+ years experience with APC or similar solutionsExperience with UPS battery backup solutionsProfessional services experience in an IT-related field such as manufacturer, VAR, IT Solution ProvidersKnowledge of servers, networking equipment, cabling, power, and related facility infrastructureKnowledge of typical office applications and computer use.Strong written skills, critical attention to detail, and a self-motivated work ethic are essential.Participation or graduation from an industry or manufacturer training program for IT/PreSales engineers

Additional Desired Skills:Experience as a corporate datacenter facilities engineer or similarExperience with Infrastructure configurations, Statement of Works, and/or contracts in an IT Services industry.Experience with Datacenter Power and Cooling considerations and solutionsExperience with Datacenter facilities management

Education and Experience:Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field of study OR equivalent experience AND/OR military experience2-4+ years of relevant experience
