The Headlines:
As a Supply and Service Intern you will be part of our Early Talent Program. Our Early Talent Program is Molson Coors’ undergraduate summer internship program, where students are exposed to the beverage industry, engaged in real-world problem-solving, and immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns. The internship is a full-time summer position from May 5 - August 8 (Canada interns) and May 28 - August 8 (U.S. interns).
Housing assistance is available to candidates who meet eligibility requirements. Applicants must be an undergraduate student (enrolled in undergraduate courses), during the summer internship, to participate in the Early Talent Program. Interns who successfully complete the Early Talent Program are considered for full-time positions within Molson Coors Beverage Company, upon graduation.
You will be part of the Customer Supply Chain Organization. You will assist in the managing of unplanned demand, lightweight reconciliation, support of CSA’s, forecasts, inventory, orders, shipment information, and demand analysis services for a defined Region, set of breweries, distributors, distribution centers, import partners, contract partners, field sales and marketing personnel.
In this role, it’s critical to drive value creation for stakeholder groups on initiatives/issues touching the distributor where feedback and the distributors’ point of view need representation. Drive to meet or exceed service, financial, and product supply goals by partnering with the distribution center inventory team and internal stakeholder groups. You will work closely with other CSA’s, Sr. CSA’s, Supply Planning Distributor interactions, and Logistics Team.
The Responsibilities:
Support the Management of distributor relationships to ensure that their product needs are satisfied
Capitalize on all wholesale/retail sales opportunities through proactive inventory management and analysis while balancing distributors’ and MillerCoors goals/costs
Make timely decisions to resolve distributor, field sales, and brewery requests/problems with a sense of urgency, leveraging superior customer working relationships with all internal and external contacts
Assist in maintaining the integrity of forecasting, ordering, and reporting systems that Molson Coors use, import, and contract distributors, providing users training and guidance as needed
The Other Qualifications:
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office – including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Drive and a bias for action
You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome
You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
