REPORTS TO:

The District's Business Administrator

JOB GOAL:

To assist the Business Administrator in the business affairs of the district in such a way as to provide the best possibleeducational services with the financial resources available

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:To assist the Business Administrator in the following:

Supervision and management of the financial affairs of the schools.Assumes the responsibility for budget development and long-range financial planning.Establishing and supervising a program of accounting adequate to record in detail all money and credit transactions.Supervising all accounting operations.Supervising the collection, safekeeping and distribution of all funds.Managing the district's real estate and insurance programs.Supervising the district's supporting services, through the directors of property services, transportation, purchasing, food services and business services.Developing a facility expansion program and supervises plan construction.Administering a budget control system for the district.Assisting the advisor to the superintendent on all questions relating to the business and financial affairs of the district.Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating all clerical, financial and support staff personnel.Arranging for the internal auditing of school accounts.Interpreting the financial concerns of the district to the community.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : As per current contractual agreement

EVALUATION : Performance of this job will be evaluated annually inaccordance with law and provisions of the Board's policy of evaluation of Professional Personnel.
