E-Mobility Fellowship Program Lead

The electrification sector is experiencing unprecedented growth with the acceleration of multimodal zero emissions transportation. Our automotive e-mobility company centers on accelerating the equitable transition to zero-emission electric, connected, autonomous, and shared vehicles. Our organization is looking to add an energetic, experienced E-Mobility Fellowship Program Lead to assist us in leading our E-Mobility Fellowship Program. This program will include workshops, sessions, and speakers from top industry leaders and companies in the e-mobility space, allowing a rare opportunity for these industry experts to directly connect with (HBCU/HSI & etc) students to mold the next generation of e-mobility changemakers and consumers. In this role, the Fellowship Program Lead will cultivate partnerships and serve as a liaison between our company and Corporate partners like GM, Ford, Electrify America, Rivian, Tesla and more. The Program Lead will also build partnerships and nurture existing relationships with Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), Tribal and Indigenous Schools, Trade Schools, Technical and Community Colleges, faculty, students & E-mobility partners. We currently have 20+ school partners including Spelman College, Morehouse College, North Carolina A&T State University, Virginia State University, University of Puerto Rico, Morgan State University, University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas Southern University, Denmark Technical College, Nash Community College, University of North Carolina-Pembroke, John Jay College and many more.

This is a full-time hybrid, remote position with travel to attend university outreach, company events, student events, and partnership meetings. The person who fills this role will need to be agile and a quick decision-maker. While also possessing critical thinking and excellent communication skills. They will also need knowledge and understanding of working in the HBCU/HSI/higher education culture space. Prior experience in the Electric Vehicle space not required.

EVHybridNoire (EVHN) is a global non-profit organization that is the nation's largest network of diverse electric vehicle drivers and enthusiasts. The mission of our passionate and dedicated team is to advance multimodal electric vehicles (EVs) to ensure those solutions are inclusive and equitable. We engage with communities often left out of e-mobility discussions, advocate for e-mobility solutions in underserved communities, and shift the narrative about e-mobility to be more inclusive of diverse populations. Specifically, our work involves a mix of grassroots engagement, media outreach, research, speaking engagements, and advocacy and decision-maker education. That work spans many aspects of e-mobility and equity, including climate justice, workforce development, public health, multimodal mobility, and creative financing of e-mobility solutions. Our team is comprised of engineers, data scientists, charging infrastructure specialists, policy experts, and e-mobility consultants working with the private and public sectors to advance decarbonization strategies. We utilize our expertise, a human-centric approach, and data-driven frameworks to integrate and amplify e-mobility best practices and e-mobility diversity, equity, and inclusion in the transportation sector.

EVHybridNoire works with industry leaders and partners ranging from auto manufacturers, transit authorities, utilities, cities and government agencies, to charging network companies, non-profits, community-based organizations, and rideshare and delivery network companies.

EVHybridNoire's vision is to increase awareness of multimodal zero-emissions transportation while accelerating a just transition to its adoption. Members of our leadership team are also the co-founders of EVNoire, a consultancy focused on e-mobility best practices and e-mobility diversity, equity and inclusion. We're currently expanding to meet the demand for our unique expertise and thought leadership.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

School / Program Outreach: Leading and engaging with universities/colleges/trade and technical schools and various faculty and academic organizations to inform refining and implementing the E-Mobility Fellowship Program within those higher levels of education while communicating expectations of the program to faculty, stakeholders, and participants with in person and virtual outreach to universities/colleges. The fellowship lead will also manage in-person engagement with fellows, advisors, and University officials and program partners, and additional stakeholders.Industry Outreach: Leading and engaging with company, business, and industry contacts to secure speakers, internships, sponsorships, and partnerships within the industry. Coordinating with industry contacts to facilitate events, site tours, showcases, briefings, career fairs, and employment opportunities for fellows.Student Outreach: Leading and tracking student/fellow recruitment efforts. While serving as a liaison for the students and faculty, and fellowship alumni throughout the program.Program/Curriculum Management: Creating and updating the fellowship program curriculum including crafting current updates, events, and schedules to keep the company, sponsors, and participants including fellows and faculty advisors informed. In addition, maintain and update the program materials and documentation including the fellowship standard operating procedures (SOP) from beginning to end each semester.Recruiting/Retention: Collaborating with and advising University representatives and faculty to support fellowship recruitment efforts. Tracking and managing student applications to completion including screening, interviewing, and contacting selected and non-selected candidates. Maintaining a relationship with fellows as they matriculate through the program.Fundraising/Development: Leading/managing program fundraising efforts to support and increase the financial support of the program including drafting and refining sponsorship material and presentations, responding to RFPs or funding opportunities while also traveling to various fundraising and university/college recruiting events as needed.Communications/Digital Media: Maintaining and fostering open communications between students and faculty and internal staff while also forming new connections with key speakers and partnerships with sponsors. Collaborate with the Marketing/Comms Manager to manage social/digital campaigns to recruit and promote fellows across multiple channels (social media/newsletters).Data Metrics: Tracking and analyzing data to outline success with the fellowship program, and report any findings to key stakeholders and founders. While also providing various ways to improve the success of the fellowship programProgram Leadership: Serving as the point of contact for corporate partners, potential school partners, students and program alums matriculating through the fellowship program. Connecting students with internship and mentorship opportunities to facilitate their personal and professional growth and entré into the e-mobility sector. In collaboration with Events Lead, organize external-facing didactic learning opportunities for students including in-person program kick off, attending industry conferences, and site visits with corporate partners.

Location
