About Team :

This is the team which builds reusable technologies that aid in acquiring customers, onboarding and empowering merchants besides ensuring a seamless experience for both these stakeholders. We also optimize tariffs and assortment, adhering to the Walmart philosophy - Everyday Low Cost. In addition to ushering in affordability, we also create personalized experiences for customers the omnichannel way, across all channels - in-store, on the mobile app and websites.

Marketplace is the gateway to domestic and international Third-Party sellers; we enable them to manage their end-to-end onboarding, catalog management, order fulfillment, return & refund management. Our team is responsible for the entire API ecosystem which enables sellers and channel partners to integrate with Walmart. We interact with multiple teams across the company to provide scalable robust technical solutions.

What you'll do :

As a Solution Architect you'll be responsible to:

Design and implement solutions that help Channel Partners platforms integrate with Walmart APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business , to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet partner needs.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API documentation, and integration guides.

Find and scale the solution architecture practice for Walmart Marketplace. Articulate vision, strategy, and objectives.

Document best practice integration pattern for each use case supported on MP API platform and publish on developer portal.

Work backwards from customer solution perspective to identify gaps in API capabilities.

Reach out to and remediate integrators having adopted integration anti-patterns

Write code samples and developer sample integrations / projects

Provide technical consults / guidance to strategic integrators, during and after onboarding

Develop solution architecture programs. Examples:

Integration health scoring

Built for Shopify

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations, working closely with partners and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

Collaborate with Walmart's security and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet Walmart's security and data privacy standards.

Work closely with partners to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing support, providing technical guidance and training as needed.

What you'll bring :

Minimum qualifications:

An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD in any stream - Computer Science preferred.

10+ years of relevant experience in building highly resilient, highly scalable systems

4+ years of experience in software development or solution architecture, with a focus on integrations and APIs.

Experience in building API's

Strong understanding of Walmart's APIs and integration protocols.

Experience with integration technologies such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, and message queues.

Proficient in at least one programming language (Java preferred).

Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure or GCP.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00



Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
