Position Description
The Benefits & HRIS Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the administration and analysis of all benefits and retirement programs as well as supporting HRIS system administration, maintenance, and reporting.
Job ResponsibilitiesProcesses and confirms the accuracy of employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.Reviews and maintains employee benefits eligibility.Maintains and updates documentation and internal policies related to employee benefits and HRIS functions.Maintains benefit information in HRIS to ensure accurate file transmissions between HRIS and carriers.Serves as the point of contact for all employee benefit inquiries and assists in employee benefit education regarding benefit options and when plan changes occur.Gathers data from both internal and external sources to assist in the analysis of current plan offerings, makes suggestions for improvement or alterations.Works with third parties to provide a stress-free benefits and HRIS experience for employees.Assists in the administration of HRIS systems including, but not limited to, the audit of employee information and production of HR reporting.Reviews monthly benefit carrier invoices to ensure accuracy and resolves any resulting issues.Supports the annual open enrollment process.Works closely and acts as a liaison on HRIS matters with outside departments, such as Payroll.Audits job descriptions to ensure they are compliant and still relevant to the position.Participates in surveys relevant to industries served by the organization.Assists in the annual filing of EEO-1, VETS-4212, and any other HR data driven reporting, as assigned.Gathers and compiles data from both internal and external sources to provide insights on current HR functions, as assigned.Performs other duties as assigned.Hourly rate range for candidates in Seattle, WA: $25.00 - $30.00
Actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on multiple factors which include relevant skills and experience. In addition to hourly wage, full-time employees will be offered the following benefits:

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, preferred.Experience
3+ years of experience in HR.3+ years of experience in benefits administration.HRIS systems knowledge - ADP required.Successful record of creating and maintaining internal processes for optimal efficiency.Knowledge/Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong ability to compile reports using various data sources.Highly detail oriented and organized.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent customer service skills.Must be able to identify and solve problems related to benefits and HRIS administration.Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skill level in Excel.Proficient with ADP and the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.Physical / Mental Requirements
Perform work in an office settingAbility to lift 15 poundsAbility to sit for extended periods of time
