Bathing Brands, a national leader in distributing, installing, and maintaining steam and sauna bathing environments, is searching for a full-time, on-site IT Manager for our Wheeling, IL. office.
The IT Manager will do it all, from changing toner, fixing headsets, resets, orientations, etc. up to addressing high-level IT needs for our small company (under 100 employees, many with hybrid work schedules).
IT Manager Overview
This is an opportunity to come in at a critical time of growth and help shape what IT means to our company. You will support our existing infrastructure and refine and create systems, procedures, and policies, plan and execute hardware needs, and recommend and implement IT initiatives aligned with company goals.
Please note that this is an onsite position and may require some work after normal business hours or weekend work.
Responsibilities
Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap.Identify, plan, and act on opportunities to improve, maintain, and implement computer systems, hardware, and network installation.Develop and implement IT policies related to network security, disaster recovery, IT infrastructure, and best practice guides for the organization.Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance.Run regular health checks on system, network, and data security.Manage, oversee, and determine timeframes for IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company.Troubleshoot issues with network hardware equipment and peripherals such as servers, switches, firewalls, copiers, phone systems, etc. as issues arise.Set up, distribute, and support user devices such as PCs, tablets, smartphones, and VoIP phones and keep a detailed inventory of these devices.Provide direct help desk support to end-users for hardware and software-related issues.Devise and implement employee IT training for safety, efficiency, and productivity.Coordinate and assist in performing end-user device updates.Develop and maintain IT SLAsAbility to research solutions for network or end-user issues.Recognize problems beyond scope of ability and seek assistance from appropriate sources (internal or external).Qualifications
Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly growing company while meeting deadlinesEffectively manage multiple items/issues/requests and be able to prioritize those, following up as needed to ensure timely and successful completionBe self-motivated and creative with exceptional troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-through skills are a mustProficiency with Windows and iOS operating systemsProficiency with O365 applicationsAbility and willingness to learn new skillsBenefits
