Our client has 30+ years of experience as an independent, privately held, full-service PBM.
This position will cover TX, MN, MO, KS, OK, NE territory and will reside in one of those states.
Compensation & Benefits:
Our client offers a competitive $120k-$150k+ Base Salary (flexible/negotiable DOE) + uncapped commission structure.Comprehensive full health benefits, 401k with company match up to 4%, room for growth, etc.
Job Summary:
The Strategic PBM Sales Executive executes the sales process, including identification, development, action, and follow through of opportunities within an assigned territory of Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), benefits brokers, and consultants. The SAE grows these relationships by showcasing new offerings, sharing industry trends, effectively conveying the differentiated value proposition of our client's organization, and ensuring successful renewal/retention of existing business.
Duties/Responsibilities
Meet or exceed growth targets by identifying and pursuing new sales with TPAs, benefits brokers, and consultants, through initiatives including direct calling, in person presentation, trade shows, industry events, conferences, campaigns, entertainment, and other means as directed.Enter timely and complete information of all sales encounters and other pipeline activities into internal systems.Act as the primary point of accountability for the end-to-end new business proposal process by working with the marketing department to ensure proper strategy development and execution, clarifications, coordination across internal departments, and error-free, complete, and compelling proposals submitted by deadline. Lead finalist presentation strategy and preparations.Working closely with the Clinical Account Executive, develop and execute strategic retention and growth plans beginning at time of award through implementation and renewal, including onboarding, new product promotion, upselling, and trend story/ROI.Foster ongoing and mutually beneficial relationships with assigned TPAs, benefits brokers, and consultantsMaintain a solid knowledge of products and services, and positive branding within the industry.
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree or equivalent experience.Minimum of three years of previous sales, account management experience within the PBM and/or health insurance space.
