Initial point of contact for Sales Department, answering the sales department main phone line and qualifying calls to get the client to the correct Sales Person on the team.Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc. for assigned markets.Sales Support Role to Director of Sale, Associate Director of Sales and Conference Services.Lead catcher - build and distribute group sales leads in Delphi/Salesforce Sales Platform (training will be provided)Sell and detail Banquet Event Orders and Meeting Space Diagrams to the Banquet Team for Lirica Restaurant's Private Dining Room and Catering Events while earning an additional sales commission monthly on all events that you service!Represents the hotel to customers in the role of executing negotiated group/catering sales agreements including but not limited to room blocks, food and beverage, and associated products and services.initiate new sales, prospects, and qualifies leads. Write proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective groups for meeting space, space and rate availability for group accommodations (10-15 guest rooms and all SMERF Groups) for moderately smaller meetings.Attend Daily Business Reviews to go over all customer group requests with the Sales/Revenue Team, attend weekly sales/revenue meeting and other scheduled meetings to support business operations.Conduct site inspections and property tours with potential customers, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities, Lirica Restaurant, as well as other hotel facilities.partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts.Typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pmWhat are we looking for?
