All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview Program manager position supporting Air Force Government Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB. Responsibilities Analyze operational capability requirements and determine adequate program funding. Perform technical evaluations of contractor proposals for both Air Force program management personnel and Government Contracting Officers. Advise program managers on VIPSAM financial issues. Develop acquisition strategy, project schedules, program plans, financial plans and other time-sensitive documentation. Integrate VIPSAM business functions with procurement, production, engineering, and product support to provide top-level financial performance. Evaluate programmatic documentation (financial planning) for content and accuracy. Assist Government Contract Officers in evaluation of contractor business base/expenditure projections and negotiation of pricing rates. Prepare and review contract Statements of Work/Performance Work Statements and Contract Data Requirements Lists. Provide financial management oversight during the development, integration, and flight test phases of VIPSAM sensor systems. Coordinate VIPSAM financial status with budget offices. Prepare program briefings on acquisition, financial, and technical improvement projects. Assist Air Force program managers in monitoring contractor schedule and performance Qualifications Required Qualifications: A current TOP SECRECT/SCI Security Clearance. At least 5 years of experience with System Program Office in developing, fielding and sustaining weapons systems. Knowledge of Department of Defense acquisition reform initiatives with emphasis and must be familiar with DoD 5000 series acquisition regulations. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products. Possess good communication skills; be responsive to customer requests; excellent writing, speaking and briefing skills. Must have experience in contract negotiations as well as excellent negotiation skills. Ability to multi-task across a wide variety of projects and business functions. A proven record in problem solving, decision-making, financial management, logistics management, program and production management abilities. Demonstrated track record of success, with the ability to work and thrive as part of a demanding team that likes to win. Global Comp $91,000 - $145,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
