Project Delivery Leader, Structures

RK&K is currently hiring an experienced leader in Structural Engineering to support existing clients and support the development of new clients and efforts firm wide. As a senior member of our Firmwide development team, you will focus on leading a variety of dynamic structural pursuits and projects as it relates to transportation, primarily focused on project across RK&K's overall current and new service areas. You should have state DOT experience, be highly proactive, able to develop creative technical solutions, have a strong understanding of structural operations and hands-on experience with bridge design and field operations.This role can be remote with required travel to the project site as needed.Essential FunctionLead a structural design and engineering group in new pursuits with development and delivery of structural assignmentsParticipate in Business Development and Marketing to secure future clients and workloadProvide Senior level structural expertise on all project aspects associated with conceptual engineering, detailed engineering designs, and preparation of contract documents for construction followed by construction administration with respect to the structural aspects of the projectServe as Project/Program and Contractual Manager on a variety of structure related projectsFacilitate internal and client meetings, presentations and approval of plansDirect project staff and sub-consultantsServe as liaison between client and firmExecute QA/QC for completeness and accuracy of design workProvide engineering judgment and initiative within the Structural Engineering field

Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's in Civil or Structural EngineeringTen (10) + years of bridge design experienceExcellent communication skills including proposal developmentProfessional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExperience with federal, state, and local government projects

Preferred Skills and ExperienceMasters degree in Structural Engineering Experience with working in multiple states
