Konik is partnering with an electrical & low voltage contractor seeking to add an experienced and energetic business development manager to their team. In this role, you will identify, pursue, and develop relationships with new and existing customers. This is an excellent, direct hire opportunity with room for growth into a leadership role, if desired.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities: Create and execute overarching business development strategy Drive new business by researching and identifying new clients, or additional opportunities within existing clients Initiate and develop strong relationships with key client contacts Collaborate with the sales team to generate new, relevant leads and opportunities for them to pursue Partner with project managers and operations to ensure client needs are met Consistently represent the firm at industry events and other networking venues
Business Development Manager Requirements: Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or similar relevant degree is preferred; extensive industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree 3+ years of business development experience in electrical contracting or an adjacent field Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
