Other Details:
The facility, which is stroke-certified and trauma level 1, is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. PEM fellowship trained locum preferred, would consider board-certified pediatrician with ED experience (needs to have experience with trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, procedures, etc.). If PEM, only PALS certification is required. If not PEM, PALS and ATLS required. The schedule will be 9 hour shifts- primarily evening/nights; would like coverage for 15 shifts a month. There are an average of 14-18 patients per shift and 13 rooms, plus 3 hall beds.
