Job Description

Job Summary:

The Technical Account Manager is a critical technical liaison between FLIR and our largest customers, coordinating internal resources to ensure their needs are met.

Technical Account Managers (TAMs) manage the deployment of our solutions with our premier customers. The TAM provides advice on deployment architectures, works with vendors to manage the support strategy, oversees the project, and assists in launch planning as well as any ongoing operational issues.

Your Contribution:

Technical Support: Helping clients understand our product's technical features and how to use it, as well as accurately specifying networking needs. You will become an expert at planning and deploying FLIR solutions, inclusive of hardware and network.

Project Management: Coordinating cross-functional efforts, managing timelines, and ensuring processes are followed and deliverables meet quality standards.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring customers are satisfied, conducting regular business reviews to ensure success and uncover opportunities for growth.

Progress Reporting: Collate data and report on current progress across multiple projects.

Problem-Solving: Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues before they impact the client.

Presentation Skills: Articulating complex technical topics, diplomatically addressing customer concerns, and providing high levels of customer satisfaction.

Travel as required to conduct and assist in deployment, commissioning, troubleshooting and operational needs.

Provide support to internal Solutions Architects, Sales Managers, and Support Personnel when your expertise is needed.

To be ready for this role, we’d love you to have:

US Citizenship required due to contract requirements.

Technical degree or professional experience equivalent required, computer science or networking degrees ideal.

Experience deploying solutions on a distributed architecture.

Ability to quickly understand and troubleshoot complex networking requirements and software applications.

Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to effectively interface with both external customers and internal management.

Comfortable with travel up to 50%

Preferred Skills Include:

Prior background in technical project management.

Experience managing projects in Asana.

Experience in the security industry.
