Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Update 2D and 3D drawings per change order (CO) needsMaintain configuration and revision control of comprehensive product documentation, part numbers and other ERP system data.

Process change requests (CR) and change orders (CO) in ERPExperience with or ability to learn editing schematics and associated PCB drawings in AltiumAssist in releasing product drawings and associated parts through engineering to manufacturingMaintain Solid Works Vault and Altium database file structures (librarian)

Support/implement streamlining efforts throughout Document ControlSupport engineering documentation needs for procurement and shared services VAVE cost reduction initiativesPerform various administrative activities for the Engineering Group.Perform other duties as directed by engineering and technical managementNormally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)Education and Experience:

A.S. degree in a business or technical field preferred.2-4 years work experience in a Document Control environment; exposure to Mechanical and Electrical Engineering drawings and assembly/test procedures required.Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

2D and 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.), Standard ANSI drafting practicesFamiliarity with schematic capture tools (Altium or equivalent)Familiarity with production methodsFamiliarity with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) - IFS familiarity a plusExcellent communication and organizational skills and ongoing attention to detail.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).Ability to adapt and manage change in a dynamic environment.Supervisory Responsibilities:
