About the Role:
At Remitly, we are looking for a highly technical senior manager to lead and run our Fraud program. This is a critical role with outsized impact and high visibility across the company. Successful candidate will not only be highly strategic but also practical and able to run this high paced program and its operations. This individual will join our Identity & Trust Product org and report to the Director of Programs.
You Will: Lead a group of program and investigation specialists Manage end-to-end performance of the fraud program Update fraud program strategy and develop/document necessary controls Manage fraud attacks and implement appropriate mitigations with the team Dive deep, investigate, analyze, and provide your insights to the team Influence and collaborate with various teams (e.g., analytics, product, or engineering) to implement potential enhancements Build/manage relationship with multiple partners across the company such as finance, business, and payments Engage with and provide necessary updates to the senior leaders and executives on the program performance, fraud trends, and existing/expected risks Stay informed about current or emerging fraud activities and customer behaviors You Have:
8+ years of experience as a fraud professional at a payment/e-money institution, FinTech, and/or financial services firm Hands-on experience self-serve writing and running queries (SQL), writing fraud rules, pulling reports, or building simple dashboards Experience managing acute attacks and leading fraud operations or investigations team Experience managing high visibility program with multiple strategic partners Experience communicating with exec teams and the ability to present complex information in a simple and clear manner Experience managing vendors Creative and have a metrics-driven approach to develop substantiated solutions A strong track-record of growing and leading teams at scale Able to work through competing priorities and influence roadmaps to have outsized impact on a business Compensation Details.
The starting base salary range for this position is typically $176,000-$220,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
