Essential Piece Lead Transportation Manager
The AZACS Lead Transportation Manager's primary responsibility is to act as representative authority for the transportation logistics for Arizona Autism Charter Schools. The Lead Transportation Manager will be the primary point of contact regarding transportation operations for this school. The Lead Transportation Manager must be well-equipped to handle sudden developments quickly and independently so that routes run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Collecting timesheets and passenger/mileage logs bi-weekly and scanning logs to the Transportation shared driveEnsuring all employees are following established guidelines for safety protocols and proper conductCollecting vehicle inspection checklists weekly and scanning checklists to the Transportation Shared DriveManaging communication between the AZACS administrative team and the AZACS Transportation team to ensure all are well-informedManaging parent contacts for route developments or changes such as drivers running late, students not riding one day, etc.Readily being available to meet with the Director of Operations on a weekly basis or as needed basis to discuss any challenges and suggest possible procedural changesRegularly check on employees to stay updated on issues they may see that management may not seeRelaying special vehicle requests (field trip requests, etc.) and scanning official vehicle request forms to the Director of OperationsManaging field trip logistics and securing vehicles and driver's availability on field trip daysRelaying vehicle maintenance requests to the Director of Operations and occasionally working with mechanics to repair damaged vehiclesOther duties may be assigned as needed as deemed by the home office.Essential Skills and Qualifications
Must be able to maintain a cordial working relationship with employees and administrative staffMust be prompt in reporting issues and changes to administrative staffMust be able to handle issues and developments quickly and positivelyMust display a generally positive attitude regardless of working conditions as a representative of the home officeMust maintain a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance CardMust support and maintain a drug-free work environment and be willing to participate in random drug testingBenefits:
