Position Overview (Summary/Objective):
This position, in either Aurora, CO or Valley Forge, PA, is for a UX Designer looking for new challenging problems. You will be working with our customers and Software/AI teams to design our UIs to meet user needs and improve their overall experience using our tools. Additionally, we have a team of excellent researchers and software developers who are eager to mentor and teach their craft. We have multiple positions available and welcome all experience levels!
Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate is proficient UX/UI Designer that has previous experience with government mission systems and is passionate about providing a great end user experience for our software. You should possess knowledge of system engineering best practices and apply them to the front end experience.
As a UX Designer, your responsibilities include:Working with our customers to understand their desires, expectations and pain pointsCollaborating with our Software and AI/ML teams to design our UI's to meet customer expectationsUnderstanding, evaluating, and recommending new technologies that can enhance the experience of a software systemBasic Qualifications:
You have an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polyB.S. in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design or related fieldMinimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a UX Designer or related experienceProven track record as a UX or UI Designer supporting agile software engineering efforts across the entire lifecycle including design, development, configuration and integration, testing, and delivery to end usersThe ability to perform in depth system engineering activities and then translate those into actionable software development concepts and implementationsEffective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well on a team in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with teamsPreferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to balance technical requirements with business needProficiency with modern design & prototyping toolsAbility to communicate and collaborate with leadership to influence product direction

This position is based out of ARKA's
King of Prussia, PA
campus. Situated less than an hour outside of Philadelphia and hosting the largest mall on the east coast, King of Prussia offers the urban feel sought in the city, while also giving opportunities to experience the beauty and history found only in Pennsylvania.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to use hands to keyboard, communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions and remain stationary for extended periods of the time.
