Intrepid Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to provide both technical work writing documentation and policies for our new US Army TENCAP client to help enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architectures in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities:The Cybersecurity Analyst shall:

Provide Cybersecurity guidance and documentation throughout the system development life cycle.Provide Cybersecurity guidance at meetings, briefings, and design reviews.Provide Cybersecurity guidance regarding currently applicable Cybersecurity regulations and policies.Provide Assessment & Authorization expertise.Provide hardware and software assessment regarding Cybersecurity effectiveness.Ensure systems remain compliant with Cybersecurity policies.Guide and assist the Customer in their efforts to protect their IT systems from cyber attacks and cybersecurity vulnerabilities using the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process. This support will include supporting:Security scans and results analysis.STIG compliance.Adherence to the Risk Management Framework (RMF).Research of new threats and attacker techniques.Monitoring, research, assessment and Attack analysis on Intrusion Detection and Prevention tools Anomaly Detection systems, Firewalls, Antivirus systems, proxy devices.Generating regular reports, threat, and status dashboards.Provide guidance and consulting on cyber security technology and solutionsPrepare standards-based, detailed bid specifications for the installation of cyber security technology.Participate in the technical evaluation of contractor proposals, software, hardware or services.

DOD and Army training requirements - DOD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management; DFARS 252.239.7001, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification; AR 25-2, Information AssuranceBaseline certification as stipulated in DODD 8140.01IAM Level III or IAT Level III baseline certificationIAW DOD 8570.01 certification

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

When seated on-site, this position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.

TRAVEL:

Up to 20% travel;Regular local day visits within the commutable National Capital Region.Potential for infrequent trips that may include locations OCONUS, potentially with minimal notice.

Qualifications:

CLEARANCE:

Active and current TS/SCI clearance required at the time of application.EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, OR;Associates degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field + 4 additional years of work experience, OR;High school diploma or equivalent and 6 additional years of work experienceCERTIFICATION(S):

DOD and Army training requirements - DOD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management; DFARS 252.239.7001, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification; AR 25-2, Information AssuranceBaseline certification as stipulated in DODD 8140.01IAM Level III or IAT Level III baseline certificationIAW DOD 8570.01 certificationREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

7+ years of progressively complex cybersecurity experience in the design, development, integration, test, certification, and accreditation of security solutions for DOD or IC intelligence systems.5+ years of cybersecurity experience supporting DOD acquisition programs / projects.1+ years experience in applying Risk Management Framework (ICD 503) for the accreditation of DOD or IC Information Technology Systems.Compliance with DOD and Army training requirements in DOD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management; DFARS 252.239.7001, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification; AR 25-2, Information AssuranceSubject to investigative and assignment requirements IAW AR 25-2, AR 380-67, Personnel Security Program, and related regulations.Ability and appropriate documentation to travel OCONUS.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

4+ years as an ISSO, System Administrator experience can be partially substituted.4+ years as an ISSM (Level 2 or level 3)Experience physically configuring a system/network or device to STIG standards or experience verifying those settingsExperience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
